Description
Manalapan Township is soliciting bids for the exclusive operation of mobile ice cream and frozen Italian ice vending within the Manalapan Recreation Center. The successful bidder must circulate mobile units throughout the paved areas, fields, courts, and other park areas; provide its own equipment and supplies; maintain required health, licensing, zoning, and fire-code compliance; provide a customer contact number; and handle litter and recycling within 25 feet of each concession operation. The bidder must submit a menu and suggested retail prices for Township approval, including ice cream and frozen Italian ice. The contract covers the 2027 and 2028 operating seasons, with Township options to extend through the 2029 and 2030 seasons. The minimum bid is $14,500 for each operating season. Required bid materials include the prescribed bid proposal form, ownership disclosure, non-collusion affidavit, addenda acknowledgment, Iran and Russia/Belarus activity certifications, business registration evidence, W-9, and other listed compliance materials. Insurance requirements include workers' compensation, general liability, automobile liability, umbrella liability, product liability, and related coverages, with the Township named as an additional insured.
