Description
Henry County is soliciting proposals for annual concession operations at North Mt. Carmel Recreation Center. The contractor will provide and manage food and beverage concession services, including labor, equipment, supplies, menu development, point-of-sale and electronic payment systems, sanitation, and customer service. Operations will support youth basketball seasons and special events; alcoholic beverage sales are prohibited. The concession must operate on a self-sustaining basis without County financing or subsidies for losses. Proposers may offer a fixed monthly fee or a percentage of gross receipts, with reporting and audit procedures required for revenue-sharing proposals. The contract has a one-year initial term with two additional one-year renewal periods. Proposals must address qualifications, personnel, comparable experience, references, approach, project planning, required forms, and a separate cost proposal.
