Description
Nassau BOCES is soliciting a vendor to provide vending services for snacks and beverages across participating school districts. The scope includes unrestricted and restricted product categories for elementary, middle, and high schools, with products required to comply with applicable USDA requirements and Smart Snacks in School guidelines. Vendors must offer one commission percentage applicable to all products supplied and vended. The awarded vendor must provide vending machines and submit manufacturer, model, capability, timer, and required-technology information for the proposed equipment. Bidders must also submit completed product listings for eight snack and beverage categories, five samples for each snack and beverage category at each school level, equipment specification sheets, ownership and officer information, non-collusion and statutory certifications, sexual-harassment-prevention certification information, and relevant experience. An insurance certificate is required before award, and participating districts must receive certificates before machine use.
