Description
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking competitive quotes for mixing and storing approximately 8,018.5 pounds of pure live seed and delivering the mixed seed within 48 hours of notification. The scope covers four delivery locations: Sioux City, West Burlington, Coralville, and Council Bluffs maintenance garages. The estimated delivery windows are November 1 through December 15, 2026, or April 1 through May 31, 2027, if weather prevents fall seeding. The contractor must provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the work. One award will cover all service lines, with separate purchase orders issued for each project. Deliveries are F.O.B. destination, and award will consider cost, mandatory requirements, staffing, schedule compliance, past work performance, and work capacity. The opportunity requires bidders to certify that they have read, understood, and accepted the solicitation requirements.
