Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is soliciting one new 3-row sugarcane cultivator for maintaining field research plots. The cultivator must meet detailed specifications, including specified main and gang tool bars, a spring-loaded center row, adjustable disc gangs, re-lubricable bearings, dirt shields, clamps, middle-busting plows, Grade 8 hardware, and compatibility with 72-inch row spacing or the customer's choice. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside. The anticipated award is a firm-fixed-price contract, with delivery required within 60 days after award to the USDA Agricultural Research Service's Ardoyne Research Farm. Quotations must include pricing for the complete line item and sufficient manufacturer documentation to establish technical acceptability; the product must be new and manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer or an OEM-approved source.
