Description
The City of Clinton is soliciting proposals for a cash-rent lease of approximately 39.08 acres of City-owned agricultural land at 6100 44th Avenue South, legally identified as Parcel No. 88-1132-0008. The lease is for one crop year, commencing March 1, 2027, and terminating February 28, 2028, with the possibility of additional one-year renewals at the City's discretion and subject to mutual agreement. Proposers must submit a proposed total annual rental amount and dollar amount per acre, proposer contact information, and a brief description of farming experience and the current agricultural operation. The property is intended for interim agricultural use, and the successful proposer must enter into the City's standard farm lease agreement. Proposals may be submitted in person, by mail, or electronically through IonWave Technologies.
