Description
This is a sources-sought notice, not a solicitation or an award opportunity. The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for a community provider to operate a low-demand Safe Haven residential program for homeless veterans, serving up to 20 people at a time. The program would provide housing, meals, laundry, internet and computer access, transportation, outreach, and case management, while connecting residents to medical, mental health, substance-use treatment, vocational, and housing resources. The facility must be within 25 miles of the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, and services are to be delivered on site. The notice requests company and business-size information, evidence of capability, DUNS and UEI identifiers, and confirmation that the proposed facility meets the distance requirement. Responses are for market research only; any later solicitation would require a separate response.
