Description
The City of Wichita is soliciting bids for construction of water distribution and sanitary sewer improvements serving Blue Lake Addition Phase 2. The work includes approximately 1,062 linear feet of 8-inch water line, a fire hydrant assembly, a blowoff valve assembly, protective fill, and associated clearing, restoration, and seeding. The tied sanitary sewer work includes approximately 1,131 linear feet of 8-inch sewer pipe, 885 linear feet of 10-inch sewer pipe, riser assemblies, standard and shallow manholes, air testing, concrete encasement, flowable and protective fill, sand fill, and construction-entrance BMPs. The contractor must provide project supervision, quality control, appropriate labor, materials, and equipment, and comply with applicable requirements for erosion and sediment control, restoration, bonding, licensing, and insurance.
