Description
The City is soliciting bids for three tied phases of dirt-street paving work spanning 2024, 2025, and 2026. The work includes mobilization, site clearing and restoration, excavation and fill, asphalt pavement and crushed-rock base, gravel shoulders, concrete pavement and curb and gutter, stormwater pipe and inlet work, mailbox removal and resetting, signing, traffic control, seeding, and erosion-control measures. The bid table identifies multiple project groups and estimated quantities; award is based on the lowest and best total net bid from a responsible and responsive vendor. Bidders must submit pricing for the stipulated items and groups and have at least three years of experience providing similar services. A 5% bid bond or an annual bid bond is required before bid opening. The successful bidder must provide specified liability insurance before contract issuance, and the work order is to be issued 30 calendar days after award; work must then be completed within 80 working days from the start of work.
