Description
The City seeks one or more vendors to provide as-needed tank-wagon deliveries of lead-free gasoline, E10, No. 1 and No. 2 diesel, and red-dye diesel for municipal departments. The estimated annual usage is approximately 750,000 gallons of gasoline and 750,000 gallons of diesel, including red-dye diesel; these estimates are for bid evaluation and do not guarantee purchase quantities. Bidders must quote a per-gallon markup by fuel type over the published OPIS low price for Wichita-area wholesale suppliers, including freight but excluding applicable taxes and fees. Deliveries are required to multiple municipal facilities, generally ordered before 8:00 a.m. for same-day delivery before 4:00 p.m.; the vendor must be available for deliveries year-round. Diesel must meet the stated fuel specifications, and gasoline must have a minimum octane rating of 87. The contract is for one year, with two one-year renewal options by mutual agreement. The City may award to multiple vendors based on the lowest and best total net bid.
