Description
The City seeks a contractor to maintain the Lincoln Street Dam hydraulic system. Work includes draining and properly disposing of the existing fluid from the 600-gallon tank, cleaning the tank, replacing the fluid with Royal Purple BioMax EAL 46 synthetic or an approved equivalent meeting the specified pour-point requirement, and replacing the hydraulic filter. The contractor must inspect fittings, hoses, and lines for leaks, wear, or damage; recommend necessary repairs or replacements; secure connections; monitor fluid levels and system pressure; and start and test the system after repairs. Bids are evaluated on the lowest and best total net bid. Respondents must have at least three years of experience providing similar services and submit pricing for all stipulated items. The solicitation also requires applicable insurance and a certificate of insurance from the successful bidder before a purchase order, agreement, or contract is issued; that certificate is due after award, not with the bid.
