Description
The County of San Diego is seeking proposals for Adult Recovery Court Services in Lot 2 — North. The program will serve adults referred through Adult Drug Court and adults referred through Deferred Entry of Judgment under California Health and Safety Code Section 11395. Required services include ASAM-based substance use and mental health evaluations, outpatient and intensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment, care coordination, court progress reporting, drug testing, recovery services, warm handoffs, transportation assistance, and coordination with justice, health, and community partners. Services are expected to be delivered in an outpatient setting, with the contractor establishing a facility within the applicable Superior Court region. The contractor must provide evidence-based and culturally responsive care, address co-occurring conditions, support medication for addiction treatment linkages, participate in weekly court meetings and case conferencing, maintain required staffing and certifications, and comply with Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System requirements. The selected provider must obtain Drug Medi-Cal and alcohol and other drug certifications if not already certified; subcontracting to a Medi-Cal provider cannot replace the contractor's own certification. The North region served 134 drug court clients and recorded 68 referrals and 29 admissions in the most recent fiscal year, with no guaranteed minimum referral volume.
