Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is requesting quotations for community-based outpatient substance use disorder, mental health, and sex offender treatment services for adults in custody residing at a residential re-entry center or on home confinement. Required services include treatment planning, intake screening and assessments, individual and group counseling, relationship and parenting counseling, psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention evaluations and reports, medication monitoring, and related follow-up services. Treatment must use cognitive behavioral or compatible evidence-based methods, and crisis intervention reports must be provided within 24 hours when requested. The contractor must provide qualified, independently licensed or certified South Dakota clinicians and key personnel, including substance use disorder, mental health, crisis intervention, psychiatric, and sex offender treatment capabilities. The response must address proposed treatment locations, privacy and confidentiality measures, office diagrams, ADA compliance, local areas of concern, facility licensing or certification, professional licenses, resumes, clinical experience, DEA registration for prescribing practitioners, and required security and privacy controls. The contract is a firm-fixed-price IDIQ arrangement with a one-year base period, four one-year option periods, and a potential six-month extension.
