Description
Sedgwick County and the City of Wichita are seeking entities or firms to provide evidence-based opioid use disorder treatment, recovery, prevention, and education services under the Expansion of Treatment Capacity priority area. Proposed programs may address one or more goals: medical detox, medication-assisted treatment/medications for opioid use disorder, diversion from jails and judicial processes into treatment, MAT/MOUD induction in county jails, and post-overdose co-responder services. Applicants may propose mobile, low-barrier, clinical, care-navigation, case-management, provider-training, or family-support approaches aligned with these goals. The solicitation provides $900,000 in total funding, with up to $450,000 per award and two anticipated awards. Applicants must complete the Response Form and Budget Workbook, select and report performance measures, and submit required organizational and financial materials. The contract continues through December 31, 2027, with a one-year renewal option under the same terms and conditions; the renewal is a no-cost extension. Proposals must be submitted by email with the RFP number in the subject line.
