Description
Sedgwick County and the City of Wichita are jointly soliciting proposals for evidence-based or evidence-informed services addressing opioid use disorder and co-occurring substance use disorders under the Opioid Settlement Fund’s Integrated Care priority area. Eligible approaches may include expanding outpatient or intensive outpatient treatment, integrating substance use and mental health services, developing recovery housing, providing transportation or other barrier-reduction supports, conducting outreach and enrollment assistance, delivering wraparound services, embedding peers or community health workers, supporting the behavioral health workforce through recruitment, retention, training, supervision, and wellness initiatives, and formalizing cross-organization referral, care-coordination, data-sharing, and partnership structures. The total funding available is $580,000, with anticipated awards of up to $200,000 and approximately two to three awards. Applicants may address one or more of the three stated goals: enhanced access to behavioral health services and recovery housing, workforce support, and partnerships. Proposals must use the attached Response Form and two-year Budget Workbook, along with required organizational and financial documentation and a Privilege Log. Funded contractors must report performance outcomes quarterly and participate in additional outcome studies or data collection as directed.
