Description
The U.S. Navy's Southwest Regional Maintenance Center is soliciting a single Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Level-of-Effort task order for hull, mechanical, and electrical fleet technical assistance and follow-on engineering support. Services include ship maintenance and repair guidance, fleet technical assistance, assessments, contract management oversight, engineering analysis, troubleshooting, training, documentation, and coordination for Navy ships and submarines. Work supports planned and emergent requirements across naval architecture, ship structures, coatings and corrosion control, auxiliary and air systems, elevators, hydraulics, propulsion, electrical systems, combat systems, and submarine support. The requirement provides 1,227,725 total labor hours across a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Competition is restricted to active prime holders of the Department of the Navy SeaPort-NxG Multiple Award Contract, and proposals must be submitted electronically through the PIEE Solicitation Module. The solicitation requires a 23% small-business participation commitment, Secret clearance capability, Government Furnished Property management, security and safety planning, detailed staffing and personnel qualifications, three recent and relevant past-performance references, cost and pricing documentation, and acknowledgment of Amendment 0004.
