The Kansas Office of Judicial Administration, through the Kansas Lawyers Assistance Program, is seeking a contractor to provide or arrange confidential assessment, outpatient counseling, treatment referrals, and related support for Kansas lawyers, bar applicants, and law students. Services include up to 12 sessions per referral during each 12-month period, delivered in person or virtually by appropriately licensed professionals, with face-to-face services available across at least 26 Kansas cities. The scope also includes coordination with primary-care or other healthcare providers when authorized by the client, referrals for substance-use assessment and treatment, group counseling for high-stress or traumatic events, relapse-prevention services, and monthly and annual utilization, demographic, and satisfaction reporting. The contractor must provide a clinical protocol for alcohol- and drug-related relapse prevention and maintain strict confidentiality, reporting only attendance for billing and session-count purposes unless the client provides a written release.
