Description
Ellis County is establishing a pre-qualified pool of licensed therapists to provide behavioral health assessments and outpatient therapy services supporting the County's Behavioral Health Department and Veterans Treatment Court. Services will be used on an as-needed basis, and admission to the pool or submission of a response does not guarantee a contract award, minimum work volume, compensation, or referrals. The service target is approximately 45 veterans per year and is not expected to exceed that number. Anticipated billing includes CPT code 90791 for assessments; 90853 for group therapy; and 90832, 90834, or 90837 for individual psychotherapy, depending on session length. Providers must meet mandatory qualification standards and submit current, unrestricted Texas licenses for the applicant and all employed clinical staff expected to perform the work. Associate clinicians require proof of their board-approved supervisor's active license. Organizations may submit one response covering multiple clinicians and may provide individual resumes, experience, or references as additional attachments. Providers must submit their own pricing schedule through the procurement portal, coordinate billing through participants' private health insurance first, and accept County reimbursement for services not covered by private insurance at the submitted and accepted rates. Services within Ellis County and in person are highly preferred, while telehealth may be approved case by case and telehealth-only providers are not disqualified.
