Description
The City of Burlington, Vermont is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide comprehensive contracted assessment services, including a named lead assessor eligible and willing to accept appointment as Interim City Assessor. The engagement is intended to provide full continuity of the City's assessment functions. The successful proposer will perform the functions of the Office of the City Assessor, including assessment administration and valuation, appeals and boards, state reporting, systems and transparency, office direction, and on-site presence. The contract term is anticipated to be three years with up to two one-year renewal options. Proposals must include a firm profile, named lead assessor and personnel certifications, willingness to accept appointment, staffing plan, transition approach, references, fee proposal, and conflict of interest disclosure.
