Description
The Nassau County Industrial Development Agency is seeking qualified appraisal firms or individuals to provide as-needed valuations of the real property components of proposed Agency projects and related professional services. Services may include condemnation appraisal and fixture appraisal work, review of project applications and supporting materials, meetings with applicants and Agency representatives, and written reports presenting as-completed property valuations and estimates of otherwise applicable real property taxes. Work must comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). The Agency may establish a list of responsive and responsible contractors and distribute assignments among multiple contractors, with no assurance regarding the number of projects. Respondents must provide organizational information, relevant experience and capabilities, qualified New York Certified General Real Property Appraisers, client references, a sample report, per-project cost and time estimates, conflict-of-interest information, and required disclosure and non-collusion certifications. Experience and capabilities are limited to two pages. Professional liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence and $1 million aggregate, naming the Agency as an additional insured, and workers' compensation insurance are required under the contract.
