Description
The City of New York Department of Citywide Administrative Services seeks up to five qualified vendors to provide real estate appraisal services through as-needed work orders. Service Option One covers appraisal reports, market rent appraisal reports, and appraisal review reports conforming to current USPAP standards. Service Option Two covers appraisal reports conforming to USPAP and UASFLA standards. Services will primarily concern properties in New York City's five boroughs, with occasional assignments outside the city. Vendors must demonstrate at least 10 years of relevant experience, at least 75 compliant appraisal reports for New York City properties completed within the preceding three years, at least three client references from the preceding five years, and required appraisal publications or data-service subscriptions. Proposals must address experience, sample reports, management approach, customer service, staffing, and organizational capability, and must include qualified MAI and New York State appraiser personnel. The contract will use work orders, with an anticipated three-year term and possible renewal and extension periods; total estimated funding is $1,050,000, allocated as $750,000 for Service Option One and $300,000 for Service Option Two.
