Description
The Southwest Regional Recreation Authority, operating as Spearhead Trails, is requesting professional appraisal services for six parcels totaling approximately 180 acres in Wise County, Virginia. The appraisal must comply with the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (UASFLA), also known as the Yellow Book, from the outset rather than being adapted from another appraisal. The contractor must prepare a sufficiently documented appraisal report to support independent technical review and approval. The authority will separately arrange for an independent review by a Virginia state-certified general real estate appraiser; that review is outside the contractor’s scope. The work must also address applicable USPAP, Uniform Act, and Virginia Land and Water Conservation Fund requirements as specified in the solicitation materials.
