Description
The Vermont Air National Guard seeks three scaled, exterior-grade F-35A Lightning II replica sculptures for long-term outdoor display. Each assembly must include a durable epoxy fiber-reinforced-plastic composite shell, welded internal steel framing, a reusable production mold, a removable powder-coated steel pedestal and base plate, official graphics, specified camouflage finishes, protective coatings, crating, transportation, and delivery. The contractor must provide dimensional shop drawings, 3D CAD models, and a structural calculation package stamped by a licensed Professional Engineer. The assemblies must withstand at least 115% of anticipated environmental design loads, including wind, snow, and ice. Quotes will be evaluated on technical and engineering approach, relevant past performance, delivery schedule and project management, and price using a best-value tradeoff. The solicitation requests two to three relevant projects from the last three to five years and requires delivery of the completed assemblies within the contractually agreed period, with an example of 90–120 days after receipt of order.
