Description
The Chittenden Solid Waste District and Addison County Solid Waste Management District are seeking a qualified firm to evaluate employee compensation, benefits, pay structures, and job classifications. The work includes market compensation and benefits surveys, analysis of salary compression and pay ranges, review of employee classifications through site visits, questionnaires, and interviews, and recommendations for classification and compensation changes. The selected firm will also review and revise the municipal Rating Manual, prepare separate final reports for each district, provide implementation cost analyses and recommendations for maintaining market competitiveness, and present findings to management and the governing boards. Proposals must address the firm's methods, work products, schedule, references, pricing, staffing, and optional services; five comparable public-entity references are required.
