Description
The City of Burlington Electric Department is soliciting proposals for the development, installation, and integration of a replacement SCADA system for the McNeil Generating Station. The system must be built on the Inductive Automation Ignition platform and replace the existing Intouch Wonderware SCADA application while preserving current functionality. The work includes studying plant operations; redesigning operator screens with visual system maps, equipment detail popups, trends, and intuitive controls; maintaining existing historian values and alarm configurations; and providing a historian and alarm system. Proposals may include hardware and licensing or may require the Department to purchase those items separately. Vendors must describe their technical approach, project plan and timeline, relevant Ignition-platform experience, qualifications, references, subcontractors, and a fixed not-to-exceed project cost. The system is expected to be ready for commissioning during a planned outage in April 2027.
