Description
The 88th Medical Group requires blood components and reference laboratory transfusion testing to support emergency situations and inpatient and outpatient care. The supplier must provide 24/7 service, including weekends and holidays, and rapid shipment of compatible blood products. For STAT requests, the requirement calls for a one-hour testing turnaround and delivery goal, with delivery to the Transfusion Services department. The supplier must be FDA-licensed, follow AABB standards, notify the Medical Group of unexpected or abnormal test results, and provide specified look-back notifications. Quotes must include pricing for the listed products and services, conform to the solicitation’s CLIN structure, and include a description of the proposed supply or service. The requirement is for five years; the solicitation states that service is required within 10 days after receipt of order.
