Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a certified SDVOSB contractor to provide onsite perfusionist and autotransfusionist services for the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System. The contractor must provide five full-time-equivalent personnel: four Board Certified Perfusionists and one Certified Autotransfusionist. Services include cardiopulmonary bypass, autotransfusion, operation and maintenance of VA-owned cardiopulmonary support equipment, patient-care documentation, quality-improvement activities, and related administrative support. The requirement includes regular Monday-through-Friday coverage, one perfusionist on call continuously, and replacement coverage when personnel are unavailable. Personnel must meet specified licensing, certification, experience, credentialing, training, privacy, and healthcare compliance requirements. The contract is firm fixed price with one base year and four one-year option periods.
