Description
Montgomery County is seeking professional environmental consulting services for the expansion of the Montgomery County Ohio Fairgrounds. The base scope includes preparation of a National Environmental Policy Act Categorical Exclusion and Section 6(f) Compliance and Stewardship documentation; agency coordination with the National Park Service and other relevant agencies; assessment of potential impacts from the proposed park design; and kickoff and monthly project check-in meetings. The consultant will also perform a waters investigation for Parcel 2, including desktop research, a site visit, regulated-waters assessment, and a permit-ready delineation report with mapping, photographs, applicable wetland and habitat forms, and electronic GIS files. Phase I cultural resources surveys may be authorized if required through coordination with the Ohio State Historic Preservation Office. If the County authorizes future park implementation, the selected consultant may provide final design and construction documents, permitting, bidding and procurement support, and construction administration under a separately negotiated scope, fee, and schedule. The anticipated base environmental documentation is to be available for agency review within 180 days after contract execution and authorization to proceed.
