Description
Montgomery County Environmental Services is seeking bids for a comprehensive renovation of its Solid Waste Old Administration Building. The work includes demolition and renovation across the building’s four levels; upgrades to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevator, fire-protection, and structural systems; interior remodeling; and renovation of a restroom. The scope also includes concrete and masonry repairs, including concrete wall repairs, crack repairs, CMU and brick replacement, tuck-pointing, and stitch-tie repairs. Hazardous-material abatement is included, with identified asbestos-containing and assumed asbestos-containing materials addressed in the project documents. The engineer’s estimate is $2,074,930. Bids must be submitted electronically through the county’s OpenGov Procurement portal by November 18, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for November 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
