Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from suppliers and manufacturers of domestic, Buy American Act-compliant valves for hydronic heating and chilled-water systems and steam systems. The requested hydronic valves are ductile-iron butterfly valves in sizes 2.5, 3, 4, and 5 inches. The requested steam valves are cast-steel globe valves (3 inches), gate valves (2.5, 3, and 4 inches), and swing-check valves (4 and 5 inches). This is a sources-sought market-research notice, not a solicitation for quotes; no contract will be awarded and proposals are not being requested or accepted. Interested suppliers are asked to provide their company name and address, a point of contact and phone number, product data, and the place of manufacture. Responses are to be emailed with the reference number in the subject line.
