Description
The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority is soliciting bids for one new, unused large industrial parts washer, with the Better Engineering Products Purifier Model RD-4000 serving as the basis of design. Approved equals will be considered if they meet or exceed the specified functionality, performance, capacity, and capabilities. The equipment must be configured for 460/480 VAC, three-phase power, and bidders must provide product literature, technical specifications, dimensions, electrical requirements, features, options, installation requirements, delivery lead time, warranty information, and training information. The scope includes delivery, positioning, assembly, installation, electrical, water, exhaust and compressed-air connections as applicable, commissioning, testing, initial cleaning chemical, chemical setup and calibration, operator and maintenance training, and operating and maintenance documentation. Optional equipment must be priced separately, including automatic water fill, oil skimmer, in-line strainer, conducting meter, chemical dosing, oscillating spray manifold, upper parts basket, fresh rinse cycle, and air-drying system. Bids must be submitted electronically through the designated procurement portal, and the solicitation requires several certifications, business records, references, and other bid forms or uploads.
