Description
Montgomery County Environmental Services is soliciting bids for an as-needed price agreement covering repairs to approximately one to 50 water main breaks at various locations throughout Montgomery County. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, emergency response, excavation, water tap and service-line repairs, curb-stop replacements, point repairs, isolation-valve replacements, hydrant work, backfill, pavement restoration, traffic control, cleanup, and related services listed in the pricing schedule. Emergency repairs require the contractor to respond within one hour and be at the job site within three hours; other repairs will generally receive 48 hours' notice. Work is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements, applicable environmental and safety requirements, and Montgomery County specifications. The County intends to award one primary supplier, with a possible secondary supplier, and does not guarantee any specific quantity or spending level; the estimated annual value is $100,000. Subcontractors are not permitted unless reviewed and approved by Montgomery County. The agreement has a one-year initial term with four additional one-year extension options.
