Description
The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority is soliciting bids for genuine Meritor OEM disc brake components for its 30-, 35-, and 40-foot buses. Required products include minor and major disc brake kits, brake calipers, rotors, slide pin kits, and associated hardware, with specified Meritor and Gillig part numbers and estimated quantities for each of five contract years. Aftermarket substitutes are not accepted, and vendors must provide complete, new, unused, properly packaged, and correctly identified kits and components. This is a fixed-price, 60-month requirements contract; quantities are estimates and are not guaranteed. Unit prices must remain firm for the contract term, delivery is required within 10 calendar days after receipt of an order or verbal notification, and the RTA may award to one or more contractors. Bids must include product descriptions and specifications, required certifications, licensing documentation, references, and the applicable OpenGov bid-form responses. The procurement is funded in part by the Federal Transit Administration and has a 0% DBE goal.
