Description
The Town of Raymond seeks statements of qualifications from licensed architects, engineers, and facility assessment consultants to support conversion of the current Jordan-Small Middle School into a community center. The one-story building is approximately 40,000 square feet, was constructed in 1988, and is expected to transfer from RSU 14 to the Town in late 2027. The proposed center would accommodate Town offices, a public library, Parks & Recreation, and other community programs. The study will include space programming and needs analysis, assessment of the building’s physical condition, and preliminary cost estimates for capital planning and potential bond authorization. Work may be phased, with programming analysis and a conceptual project budget completed first. Selection is qualifications-based, and fee proposals will not be accepted at this stage. The study may be federally funded.
