York County Government is seeking a contractor to remove two of four existing Trane geothermal heat pump condenser units, Model EXWA24032C, and furnish and install new high-efficiency water-to-water geothermal heat pump equipment. The project replaces and upgrades 50% of the existing geothermal heat pump equipment at a county courthouse facility. The scope includes associated piping, electrical connections, controls integration, condensate connections, equipment startup, commissioning, performance testing, staff training, permits, and all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, tools, and incidental work required for a complete and operational system. The completed system must provide reliable heating and cooling, improve energy efficiency, remain compatible with the existing building HVAC infrastructure, and comply with State of Maine energy codes, EPA regulations, manufacturer requirements, and accepted industry standards.
