Description
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health, is seeking one qualified vendor to provide expert pediatric audiology support and quality-assurance guidance for the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program. The scope includes oversight of hospital-based newborn hearing screening practices, data management and reporting, timely referral and diagnostic follow-up, coordination with pediatric audiology centers and facilities, and support for statewide program consistency. The consultant must be a currently New Hampshire-licensed audiologist with demonstrated pediatric audiology experience and an accredited audiology degree or designation, such as a Doctor of Audiology, Master of Science in Audiology, or Master of Education in Audiology. Required responses address the vendor’s ability to perform the full scope, pediatric clinical experience, statewide newborn hearing screening and EHDI 1-3-6 experience, healthcare-professional training, collaboration with hospitals and early-intervention providers, reporting practices, current knowledge of pediatric audiology and JCIH recommendations, and staffing and key-personnel qualifications. Compensation is anticipated at $60 per hour, with approximately $24,500 in funding and potential renewal for up to two additional years.
