Description
Linn County Conservation Board is soliciting proposals for repairs to the Riverside Playground at Pinicon Ridge Park. The work includes removing existing playground equipment, play surfacing, and concrete footings; protecting existing climbing boulders, shelters, and walkways; regrading the site; installing subdrains and compacted rock; pouring a 4-inch concrete play-area slab with woven wire fabric; and installing new playground equipment or approved equivalents. The contractor must furnish all labor and equipment, dispose of removed materials, provide perimeter construction fencing, and install approximately 6,930 square feet of PlayTile safety surfacing with a 144-inch critical fall height. Proposed equipment includes a zipline, bucket swings, a standard belt swing, multi-person swing, swing frame, balance climber, welcome sign, and climbing wall. The proposal must include relevant experience, at least three similar-project references, proof of specified insurance, completed cost and price-hold attachments, and 5% bid security. The solicitation also requires the successful contractor to become a co-permittee and requires prior written approval for subcontractors and suppliers.
