Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking a contractor to replace approximately 96 feet of 15-foot-tall padding and approximately 640 feet of 8-foot-tall padding at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Padding must be supplied by Unlimited Sports Solutions, consist of 3-inch high-impact foam wrapped in dark-green 18-ounce all-weather vinyl, and include all installation hardware, including hardware for mounting a portion of the padding to a cement wall. The Cedar Rapids Kernels will install decals and graphics. The contractor must provide measurements, labor, tools, equipment, consumables, transportation, permits, licenses, construction-waste disposal, and all other items necessary to complete the work. Employees must be identifiable, the work area must be protected and cleaned daily, and applicable safety and accessibility requirements must be followed. Required insurance includes general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation coverage, along with specified endorsements. Payment and performance bonds, each equal to the contract price, are required within 10 days after award.
