Description
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is soliciting formal, competitive sealed bids to replace the existing maintenance building at Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and permitting required by the contract documents. Builder's risk insurance is required and must be included in the bid price. Bidders must be prequalified by the Department's Bureau of Design and Construction and submit a copy of the biennial prequalification letter. A bidder that is not prequalified must submit current state contractor license certification or registration and current corporate charter registration with the bid. The project must comply with applicable green building standards, and the contractor must use the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify system for covered personnel and subcontractors.
