Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is soliciting bids to install three sets of cold-formed roof curbs at four facilities: the Police Department, Noelridge Greenhouse, Cedar Rapids Public Library—Busse Branch, and Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control. The work includes labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, coordination with City staff, protection of existing roof warranties, safety measures, cleanup, and off-site disposal of construction waste. The roof curbs must comply with the provided structural details and support Skydio Dock for X10 drone-dock installations. The contractor must provide competent, identifiable personnel and marked vehicles, obtain the required construction permit, protect City property, and furnish all items necessary to complete the work. Payment and performance bonds, each equal to the contract price, are required from the awarded contractor within 10 days after award. Required insurance includes general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and specified endorsements. Bids must be submitted electronically through Euna Procurement powered by IonWave; email, fax, and hard-copy submissions are not accepted.
