Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is soliciting unit-price bids for drainage improvements at 171 23rd Street Drive SE. The work includes raising the right-of-way grade; installing a SUDAS SW-541 storm sewer intake, footing drain collector piping, and pop-up emitters; removing and replacing a paved concrete driveway; full-depth concrete pavement patches; topsoil, sod, construction surveying, mobilization, and temporary traffic control. The engineer's opinion of probable cost is $50,000. The early start is upon receipt of the notice to proceed, the late start date is April 1, 2027, and all work must be completed within 35 working days. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, are required from the successful bidder; a bid bond is not required. Bidders must submit the Bidder Status Form and complete the electronic bid response, including the listed unit-price items and required certifications and acknowledgments.
