Description
The Little Rock School District is soliciting sealed bids from qualified, licensed commercial contractors for the demolition of Southwest Junior High School. The selected contractor must comply with Arkansas commercial contractor licensing requirements and begin work upon notice of award, completing the project within 60 calendar days. Liquidated damages may apply for late completion. The bid requires a total lump-sum price and submission of the specified bidder assurance, MBE/WBE, work-performance, licensing, subcontractor, and supplier-information forms. A 5% bid bond is required. The successful bidder must provide 100% payment and performance bonds when the bid exceeds $20,000, and the apparent low bidder must provide required insurance after bid opening.
