Description
Tioga County is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the complete demolition and site restoration of a County-owned, approximately 2,136-square-foot, two-story structure. The scope includes removal of the building, foundation, and associated below-grade improvements; lawful off-site disposal of demolition debris; verification of utility disconnections; and protection of adjacent property and public improvements. The contractor must prepare and turn over the demolished site to the Tioga County Department of Public Works for subsequent backfill, compaction, and grading. This public-works project is subject to applicable New York State competitive-bidding and prevailing-wage requirements, as well as applicable federal, state, county, village, and local laws. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid site inspection is required for the prime bidder or an authorized representative.
