Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is soliciting unit-price bids for internal inspection of sanitary sewer interceptor pipes ranging from 15 to 96 inches in diameter and MACP inspection of sanitary sewer manholes. The scope also includes a cleaning allowance, mobilization and demobilization, railroad right-of-entry agreement and insurance, railroad protection flaggers, and access for manhole rims more than 48 inches above existing ground. Estimated quantities are provided for comparison, with final payment based on actual quantities performed. The engineer's opinion of probable cost is $900,000. Work may begin upon receipt of the notice to proceed, must begin no later than April 1, 2027, and must be completed by January 31, 2028. Bidders must submit unit prices and required certifications, acknowledgments, and bid security through the electronic bidding portal by the response deadline.
