Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking bids from licensed and qualified security vendors to furnish and install card-access systems at 10 exterior and four interior doors at Veterans Memorial Stadium and two exterior doors at The Annex. The work includes locks, strikes, hardware, access cards, wireless equipment, applicable licenses, and a mobile application for managing access control and alarms. The project also includes burglary and alarm systems at the team store, clubhouse, press box, and suite entrances, motion sensors at the main-office entry area and retail store, and all labor, materials, equipment, permits, licenses, cleanup, and safety measures. Bidders must provide annual pricing for optional 24/7 burglar-alarm monitoring. Subcontracting or assignment requires the City's prior written consent. Payment and performance bonds are required from the awarded contractor in amounts equal to the contract price.
