Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking two new, current-model 1/2-ton extended-cab, four-wheel-drive pickup trucks for its Traffic Division. One truck must meet the 1-470 specification, and the second must meet the 1-472 specification and include a compatible aluminum liftgate with a minimum 1,300-pound capacity and 38-inch fold-out platform. Both vehicles require specified engines, dimensions, safety equipment, towing equipment, wiring, controls, emergency lighting, amber LED strobes, warning lights, traffic advisors, bright-white exterior paint, manuals, warranties, and related accessories. Delivery includes pre-delivery inspection and service, documentation, manuals, keys, title paperwork, and final inspection. Bids must be submitted by a licensed Iowa vehicle dealer; equivalent products may be considered when permitted by the specifications. The bidder must submit manufacturer descriptive literature and completed specification checklists for each vehicle, with any exceptions or deviations clearly documented.
