Description
The City of Detroit Office of the Assessor is seeking professional services to inspect assigned residential properties and provide factual information supporting property assessment and valuation activities. Services include on-site inspection of physical characteristics, condition, improvements, deficiencies, structural conditions that are readily observable, and other factors relevant to valuation. The contractor must provide personnel, supervision, equipment, transportation, technology, supplies, photographs, written inspection reports, and supporting documentation. For each assigned property, the contractor must submit a complete inspection package, including property identification, inspection date, inspector identification, findings, condition information, improvements and deficiencies, photographs, and documentation of inaccessible areas. Reports and photographs are generally due within 48 hours after inspection. Re-inspections and follow-up inspections may also be requested. The contract term is two years after required City Council approval and execution. Pricing is requested per property for initial inspections and re-inspections.
