Description
Detroit Public Schools Community District is seeking qualified community partners to provide free after-school enrichment programming in STEAM, social studies, arts, and/or athletics during the 2026-2027 and/or 2027-2028 school years. Multiple partners may be selected. Programs must be delivered at District after-school sites, generally daily for two to three hours through 5:30 p.m., with staff on site to receive and supervise students through parent pickup. Partners must provide instructional materials and staffing, comply with background-check and risk-management requirements, and coordinate with site coordinators and other partners. Programming may serve specified schools or grade bands, but partners may not select individual schools when applying for all or a specific number of schools. Responses must describe the proposed programming, service-delivery plan, student capacity, grades served, duration, connection to the requested subject areas, staffing model and minimum qualifications, and available funding or grant support covering program costs. The District will evaluate programming quality and organizational capacity, and may make single or multiple awards. Paid programming is outside this RFI and must be proposed under a separate RFP.
