Description
The City of Lathrup Village Downtown Development Authority is requesting proposals for professional snow and ice removal along the sidewalks and pedestrian pathways on 11 Mile Road between Lathrup Boulevard and Evergreen Road, including seven overpasses. The contractor must clear snow and ice, apply salt or environmentally safe ice-melting materials as requested, and perform services within 12 hours after snowfall events exceeding two inches, with additional clearing or spot treatments during extended or heavy events. The proposal must include a service plan covering equipment, staffing, and de-icing materials; detailed pricing using the provided bid table; relevant experience and references; proof of liability and workers’ compensation insurance; confirmation of response-time capability; and any optional value-added services. The contract may run for up to three years, with a mutually agreed two-year renewal option.
