Description
Oakland County, on behalf of its Register of Deeds, is requesting proposals for professional land surveying services supporting the county remonumentation program established under Michigan's State Survey and Remonumentation Act. The scope includes research and field surveying, placing and replacing section and property-controlling corner monuments, determining Michigan State Plane coordinates using GPS, preparing and recording Land Corner Recordation Certificates, and furnishing dossier files in accordance with state and county remonumentation guidelines. The selected contractor may also serve as the County Remonumentation Representative, including assisting with annual grant applications and reports, reviewing surveyor invoices, providing program guidance, and participating in or chairing Peer Group meetings. Proposals must include bidder information, references, compliance certification, technical qualifications, proof of professional surveying licensure, personnel credentials, an example dossier report, relevant GPS/GIS/CAD capabilities, training information, a project-understanding statement, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, a Certificate of Good Standing or applicable certification, and the completed pricing workbook. Insurance certificates are required only after award, not with the proposal.
